Well, my festive events commenced with a Masquerade Ball in aid of the Breast Cancer charity and held at the beautiful Taplow House Hotel, Berkshire. Because it was organised by two young ladies in the their 20’s, it had a real fun feel to the whole evening even though it was a black tie event.
I’m proud to have been part of the sum raised that evening, almost £3,000 from auctions, raffles and ticket sales. I donated a Gift Voucher for a Personal Shopping trip and a friend bought two of my Gift Vouchers for Colour Analysis and donated it as a session for two, which was very generous of her. It raised £160 (£140 normal price) for the charity.
Following a sumptuous 3 course dinner, including a flowing chocolate fountain as dessert, it was time to hit the dance floor but before it was full of super stylish dancers, a photo booth which was situated close by was attracting the attention of many of us. With the lure of curiosity (and vanity) we decided to pop in for a quick snap shot capturing the moment….and masks! Although it was funny at the time, don’t expect me to post my picture here….
Thank you all for a great night!
